Upon arrival at Luxor airport, train station, or any hotel, you will be picked up and transferred to Esna by car (50 km south). Check-in at the dahabiya and begin sailing towards El-Hegez. Here, you can enjoy a walk through a small village, and the boat will stay there for the night.
This will be your first night on board.
Sail to El-Kab Necropolis, the ancient city of Nekheb, where you can see the remains of the temple and the tombs. After that, sail to Edfu City, where you will visit the beautifully preserved temple of Horus which has been buried under the desert for hundreds of years. Then, set sail for a small island near Edfu, where the boat will stay for the night.
This will be your second night on board.
Sail to Besao island, where you can enjoy a walk through the island and see the local people's life and fishing boats. After that, sail to visit Gebel El-Silsila, where the cliffs on both sides are close to the narrowest point along the length of the entire Nile. Then, head to a nearby island where the boat will stay for the night.
This will be your third night on board.
Sail to Kom Ombo city, where you will visit the double temple of Horus and Sobek. After that, sail to Daraw, where you will walk through the village and visit the Daraw markets. Then, continue the upgoing sail trip to the Nubian village of El-Koubania, near Aswan.
This will be your last night on board.
Departure from Aswan. After breakfast on board, transfer to Aswan Airport, train station, or any hotel in Aswan.
This will be your last day on board.
